MSPA Statehouse Visit

Join MSPA for a statehouse visit! Spend the morning learning about advocacy opportunities, and how to advocate on behalf of students and schools. This year's event will focus primarily on the opportunities that the federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) presents for advocacy around school psychology and student supports. 

This learning opportunity is provided to give MSPA members information on how to participate effectively in grassroots advocacy, and communicate effectively with legislative representatives and elected officials. Three hours of content (3 PDP) will be provided to prepare members for scheduled visits with elected officials. 

Members are strongly encouraged to schedule appointments to meet with their personal representatives (e.g. State Level Representatives & State Level Senators) to share build connections & share information. Please schedule appointments for 1:00 or later.
