MSPA is dedicated to promoting fairness and equity within school systems. We aim to raise awareness and advocate for social justice and culturally-responsive professional practices that prioritize the rights, dignity, and worth of disempowered populations. At the core of our advocacy is a belief that every student deserves an education that is equitable and inclusive. This means recognizing the unique needs and perspectives of all students, particularly those who have been marginalized or excluded from traditional educational practices. By promoting culturally-responsive practices and encouraging critical conversations around equity, MSPA intends to empower Massachusetts school psychologists and other key stakeholders to take the necessary actions to achieve greater equity and inclusivity in their school communities.
